" I draw a mindmap of things that would help me to feel better. I draw as much as I can until I feel happier" - Chloe_paints
Sometimes, when we feel down, we are not living in the 'now', we either live in the past or the future.
Her ways of drawing some mind maps are a good way to bring your mind back to the now and living in the moments.
Writing or drawing are two of the ways to distract your mind from unnecessary thoughts that make you unhappy.

"The last day of medical school/ graduating medical school.
Mike has just graduated medical school at Kansas City College and is on his way to being a MD psychiatrist where he hopes to continue his mental health advocacy and awareness and continue his coaching.
This is more than a medical degree. It's a testament to the challenges that needed to be overcome.
There were times when I wanted to cry. But there wasn't enough time to. I had to force change to ensure I came out on top. I had to make sure my mental health was at its peak so I could perform because any distraction could mean the end of everything we had worked so hard and sacrificed years of our lives for.
And so, 4 years later, I want to share with you all how I maintained my wellness throughout my journey. Its in the ACTProgram. Everything I learned. Compiled for your success. Mental health is not temporary, it's forever. You know if you need it. - Mentalhealth_mike

"At first, I had a hard time accepting myself until i realized that the first person who had to love me was me. Since then, i've started looking for something that could make me happier and put happiness as the top of my priority in my life. From this shift of mindset, I can see that if anything bad happens to me, I will get through it. I'll take a little time to heal and return to my normal life soon after. Difficult times won't stay forever, they'll always pass." -jessicaesther
Start looking for your happiness from the inside, not from the outside. You're worth more than what others think so keep your head straight up all the time and don't let anything keep you down.

"I think I would like to share my story about finding myself during the quarantine year!! I did this through daily meditations, cold showers, exercise, and manifesting! I learned to truly love and appreciate myself! Instead of looking for acceptance in others I learned to accept myself and I’m so happy where I’m at mentally!" - Frantastic_1

"Going through depression can be an uphill battle, especially during a pandemic when you aren't able to get out into the world and distract your mind. I'm a very crafty person and decided to start making scrunchies just as a stress reliever and all of a sudden I was making more than 150 scrunchies and starting my own small business! Starting this small business has been such an amazing thing for my depression, it keeps me busy and it makes me smile to know my products are making others happy as well! " -Samcomer13

People often admire the "hustle" especially in today' highly fast-paced lifestyle and I do too. Sometimes it's all about how busy I am and how I gauge things like productivity. I feel that the more I work the more celebrated I am as my brain always churning out idea after idea 🗣 This feels great but sometimes I feel low and really tired and I'm questioning myself whether what I do is smart and may brings my goals closer to me✊🏼 *Somehow I normalize this*
When I got the blues and can't shake them, I treat myself to recharge by going to my guilty pleasure food 🥞🍖🍕🍟🍣🍜🍫 🍩🍪and enjoy EVERY MINUTE sipping off javachip from my @starbucks venti cup 🧋🥤to wash my tiredness away. To stop for a day and bring my fresh mind back to work on the next day! - J_auditya

Loving yourself is the first step to happiness, and I've been working so hard on trampling a lot of my insecurities.. 💙 The friends I've made and the ones I've gotten closer to in the past year have truly given me so much love and absolute joy, and I can't thank them enough for being so so incredible 💙
